I grew up in a small village of Antwerp, Ohio–located in the northwest section of the state. My summers were often spent on my Grandma's farm, where I learned to drive a tractor and played on rusted and abandoned farm equipment in the dense woods. During the humid, hot days, I was stung multiple times by bumblebees and swarms of relentless hornets. I tamed many litters of wild kittens in the old red barn and especially loved to jump 35 feet off the haylofts into piles of fragrant hay. At night while cicadas chorused their exceptionally loud song, I was hypnotized by gentle fireflies, strange praying mantises, and the sound of insects being electrocuted by the glowing-blue bug zapper. In the farm's front yard, I loved climbing the very tall pine tree–getting sweet-smelling sap on my hands–my heart pounding from the excitement of the extreme vantage point. Afterward, I clambered up the gnarled apple trees where I would eat so many still-green apples, that I would feel sick.
I've always been extraordinarily inquisitive and starting at 8 years old, I obsessively began reading books on religions and practices such as Gnosticism, witchcraft, Satanism, occultism, Zen Buddhism, Unitarian Universalism, and many others. I fervently studied more taboo subjects such as parapsychology, the Satanic Panic, and UFO's. Finally, my interest in abnormal psychology led me to books exploring true crime, serial killers, and cults.
In high school, I was harassed and bullied nearly every day, but despite this, still graduated near the top of my high school class. Most of the bullying quit when I roughly punched the quarterback of the football team, knocking him out, and causing him to fall unconscious on the cold, green hallway floor. He never harassed me again.
In 1985 while in college, I met a punk-rock guy nicknamed Spud, who convinced me of the many reasons for becoming vegetarian. From 1987 to 1989, I was a strict vegan, which included giving up leather, honey, and other byproducts. Afterwards, I reverted to being vegetarian again, but still eliminated some animal byproducts, such as gelatin.
By the mid 90s, I had visited most states here in the US and traveled to Europe, exploring Paris and other beautiful cities and villages in France. I also spent some time in Switzerland and Vienna, Austria, where I was finally able to see many paintings by one of my favorite artists, Egon Schiele. I would love to travel more of the world and get to practice some of my limited French and Japanese.
I am goth-damaged and LOVE my kitty, Blood Ov Serena. She died on 12/04/06 @ 3:00pm and I deeply mourn her every day. She was everything to me.
I now live in San Francisco as a practicing artist specializing in installations with sculptural elements, performance art, sound pieces, and theatrical lighting. I invest most of my time visiting museums, sketching, and creating artworks that have themes of mortality, existentialism, and explorations of human anatomy in peril.
To financially support my creativity, I taught Production Design and Art Direction at San Francisco State University in the cinema department. It is an extremely underpaid job, but I very much enjoyed teaching a new generation of filmmakers from all over the world.
I am a masochistic connoisseur of bad cinema, for example the films The Room, The Doll Squad, and Lady Terminator are just three examples of my absolute favorite films that are so bad, they're good.
Finally, I have recently discovered I love racing fast electric go-karts and have been known to be a bit reckless.

Ailments
Motion Sickness - I get motion sick very easy; even movement from certain videogames will make me really ill.
Autonomic Dysfunction (pure autonomic failure–PAF) - This makes me sometimes faint when highly stressed, especially around watching surgeries or great blood loss.
Carpel Tunnel Syndrome - About 20 years ago, I used to suffer quite often.
Reactions to Meds - I strongly react to Morphine, Hydromorphone, and Diladid. I break out in extreme hives. Cough medicines often give me really intense headaches and nausea.
Allergies - Methylchloroisothiazolinone / Kathon / MCI / MI – reddening, itching, and burning scalp
Allergies - I have Skeeter Syndrome (yes it's a real thing!) which is a hypersensitivity to mosquito bites.
Allergies - I'm very sensitive to vibrations, for example using certain tools, such as a Saws-All, will make my hands break out in hives. I am easily affected by the jet streams from hot tubs. My sister and mother also share this condition.
Past Allergies - When I was a kid, I had intense hay fever, with itchy and scratchy eyes. I also used to be allergic to cucumbers, raisins, grape juice, and some melons, which resulted in a scratchy throat and itchy eyes.
Migraines - I've experienced migraines occasionally in the past, but starting around 2013, they have increased in frequency and strength.
Depression and Anxiety - Since a teenager, I have suffered with chronic depression and panic anxiety disorder. I've also been diagnosed with moderate CPTSD.
Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) - I test strongly as an HSP and can get easily overstimulated especially in social situations.
Sleep
Circadian-Rhythm Disorder - In particular, I have a delayed sleep phase disorder. My natural hours to sleep would be from 2:00am to 11:00am.
Sleep Positions - I am a side sleeper, however at some point every night I end up with my knees tucked under my body in a 'bowing' position. This is sometimes called the frog or sphinx position and is common with babies. Also, throughout the night, I periodically place either my first or second set of knuckles on my chin or mouth. I also often tuck my achilles tendon of one ankle between my toes of the other foot.
White or Brown Noise - I always like to fall asleep with a fan.
Temperature - I like my pillow to be very cold and am very irritable with humid conditions while sleeping.
